SOO lovely. Fantastic you are so enjoying the driving - and you are an extremely observant bus driver! Christmas and that Santa resemblance could be good for you indeed - although the girls will need to be pretty organised with school finishing so much before Christmas... Whole family looking forward to find you in charge of a bus we get on.
As the parent of a former student at WGC - or Dub-GC as the girls call it - I can confirm they are (in the main) lovely young women who are often surprisingly thoughtful. I'm glad you could experience this too 😊
How lovely, Alan! And can I join in the chorus of how particularly lovely your last post was? That was a pearler! You truly are a wonderful man - and bus driver!
Alan, I take so much joy from your updates. I too remember my dad wrapping up some beers for the crew doing the rubbish, or our milk, or recycling... and have wanted to pick the tradition back up again but wondered if it was against some kind of rules... Choccy in the sun probably won't be that nice, but I'll think of something...
I will also think of my transport people (am currently ferrying the harbour!) in times such as these too! Hope you're good!
That was a lovely read, thank you Alan. I just heard you get a shout out from PO’B, the maestro on Matinee Idle so that another nice thing, you’re obviously a good man!
Ngā mihi, Alan! It’s so good to read heartwarming, spirit-lifting stories in these days when so many news reports and stories are grim. Thank you! Have a great week! 🌿🌼
Also a great message, I'm not surprised by the kindness of those girls, our experience with our kids and their friends was only positive. I think the kids of today are often maligned, unfairly.
Such a heartwarming story, Alan ❤️
Feeling all the feels, Alan! Lovely post(s) xx 🧡

This shifts the next post bar even higher!

Oh, wow. That's so nice of Phil.
Good things happen to good people! 😄
Warms my heart! Thanks for sharing this lovely eggs-perience, Alan!
This is delightful!!
Beautiful, Alan. Truly lovely. ❤️ Made my eyes smile. Thank you. 😊

Possibly hedging their bets Alan, you do have a passing resemblance to Santa 😇
So you reckon I'll get more gifts come Christmas?

Oh yeah, definitely!
